PARLIAMENTARIANS FOR A FOSSIL FREE FUTURE
We are a network of over 913 members of parliaments in 92 countries calling to phase out fossil fuels and fast-track the energy transition.
A Global Network for a Fossil Fuel-Free Future
We call on world leaders to work together to:
- End new expansion of oil, gas and coal production
- Phase out existing fossil fuels fairly and equitably
- Enable a just transition and full access to renewable energy
- Fund the energy transition through public, additional and non-debt-creating climate finance
We call for new international commitments and treaties, complementing the Paris Agreement, to address the urgency of a swift and just transition away from fossil fuel energy and building democratic, renewable, safe energy systems for all people and communities in line with the goal of keeping global temperature rise below 1.5 degrees Celsius and preventing climate catastrophe.
